Landfill Construction

The Civil Environmental division provides construction services for private, municipal and industrial Landfills. We have the capability to assist in the vertical expansion of the landfill; construct new cells and close existing cells. We are licensed in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.

T&K Construction has the knowledge and experience to serve as an integral part of any landfill construction team regardless of the scope of services required. T&K has experience building new landfills, expanding existing landfills and performing capping and closure services.

We have experience and equipment to build cells of any size and complexity. Our personnel have over 50 years of combined experience in landfill construction dating back to one of the first Subtitle D cells ever constructed and has worked all over the United States. We offer the complete service package by self performing excavation and earthwork services including excavation to subgrade, installation of clay liners and bentonite additives when necessary and the protective cover construction. These items are critical to the quality of the cell integrity and schedule. Then T&K forces perform or manage the installation of the leachate collection systems, The Geosynthetic Clay Layer, the HDPE liner collection system, the HDPE pipe transmission system, and the installation of lift stations, containment tanks and pumps when necessary. As general contractor, T&K offers the complete turn-key source for your operating needs.
